SBI PO & Clerk photo, signature, thumb & declaration
SBI needs a photo, signature, left thumb impression and handwritten declaration, each uploaded separately, plus a live photo during registration.
SBI also captures a live photo during registration via webcam or phone — light background, face clearly visible.
Photograph — 20–50 KB · 200 × 230 px
- JPG / JPEG, 20–50 KB, 200 × 230 px (preferred)
- Light-coloured, preferably white background
- Recent passport-style colour photo (4.5 cm × 3.5 cm); photo, signature, thumb and declaration must all be your own
- Keep about eight copies of the same photo for later stages
Signature — 10–20 KB · 140 × 60 px
- Black pen on white paper
- JPG / JPEG, 10–20 KB, 140 × 60 px
- Capital-letter signatures are not accepted
Left thumb impression — 20–50 KB · 240 × 240 px
- Black or blue ink on white paper
- JPG / JPEG, 20–50 KB, 240 × 240 px at 200 DPI (3 × 3 cm)
Handwritten declaration — 50–100 KB · 800 × 400 px
- Write in English in your own handwriting, black ink on white paper — not in capital letters
- JPG / JPEG, 50–100 KB, 800 × 400 px at 200 DPI (10 × 5 cm)
- Text: "I, ______ (Name of the candidate), Date of Birth ______, hereby declare that all the information submitted by me in the application form is correct, true and valid. I will present the supporting documents as and when required. The signature, photograph and left thumb impression is of mine."
Photos for the call letter (print) — 35 × 45 mm
- Paste the same photo on the call letter and carry two more copies to the Preliminary exam
Other rules
- Scan at a minimum of 200 DPI in true colour, JPG/JPEG.
- Your uploaded photo and signature must match those on the call letter.
